The protocol targets a significant gap in the market: the vast pool of assets that remain unrecognized as collateral in traditional DeFi lending/borrowing markets. These include LP tokens, yield-bearing deposits, and even more exotic assets like vested tokens and NFTs. By allowing users to borrow against these without sacrificing yield, Tren introduces a powerful form of capital efficiency. Notably, our peer-to-agent loan model extends this functionality to previously illiquid and fragmented asset classes.
